1. Postgraduate International Excellence Scholarship
As part of the University of Stirling’s total commitment to attracting the very best students to join the school’s diverse international community, the University of Stirling Postgraduate International Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to several eligible students.
This scholarship is actually awarded in the form of a £4,000 tuition fee waiver for the new students in the first year of a Masters degree and is open to all full-time, self-funding students who are classed as international for tuition fee purposes.
Eligibility
Before you can be considered eligible for this scholarship, you must:
have received a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling before the scholarship deadline.
be a new student starting at the university in September 2023 or January 2024.
be classed as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes.
be a full-time international student.
a student entering directly into a full-time postgraduate degree programme, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
note that this scholarship cannot be combined with any other Stirling scholarship or award. If offered more than one University of Stirling award then the highest value award will be applied.
2. International Undergraduate Scholarship
The International Undergraduate Scholarship from the University of Stirling offers eligible students £2,000 per year (£8,000 over four years) towards the payment of annual fees. Your annual fee payments will automatically be reduced by £2,000 if you are eligible for this scholarship.
It is important to note that applicants requiring a Student visa will still be required to pay the International Tuition Fee Deposit as part of the standard admissions process. Also, this scholarship will not be awarded in combination with any other University of Stirling scholarship.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
be classed as an international student for tuition fee purposes.
have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admissions for an eligible undergraduate course at the University of Stirling.
be a full-time international student.
be a student entering directly into year one or advanced entry into year two of a full-time undergraduate degree course, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
3. INTO Stirling Progression Scholarships
This scholarship is available to students who do well to successfully progress from a qualifying pathway programme delivered by the INTO University of Stirling joint venture onto a University of Stirling undergraduate or postgraduate taught course.
The benefits are as follows:
Students who progress with an overall score of 70% and above – £4,000 fee waiver
Students who progress with an overall score of 60% to 69% – £3,000 fee waiver
Students who progress with an overall score of 50% to 59% – £2,000 fee waiver
Please note that fee waiver only applies to the first year of study at the University of Stirling.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admissions for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling.
be classed as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
have successfully completed a relevant INTO pathway programme at the INTO University of Stirling centre. This excludes English only courses, including pre-sessional language courses.
be a full-time student.
